Hi everyone. I've fixed TS2014 so it now launches and luckily the route is intact. Therefore I've ploughed ahead - there are some new screenies in the usual place. Comments welcome as always! More will be posted soon I hope.

Thank You
Just a quick few words here to say thanks to all of the kind, supportive and understanding souls that have responded to my previous update. I have to say it has renewed my desire to get on with it and it's reassured me that the community still contains some fine people. I'll keep this updated as I go along, but progress is slow at the moment whilst I put some small details in on certain stations. I hope you'll continue to contribute with any comments, thoughts, ideas and so on. If you'd like to add me on Steam, let me know your username and I'd be delighted to add you.

We Apologise for the Late Running of this Service
Dear Readers,
It is no secret amongst the community that people think this route has died a death. I wish to explain myself for my unacceptable lateness with which this is being put forward (again this is not a fault with the publishers, it lies entirely with me) and hope to offer a more human perspective as to why.
Since finishing university and starting back at work in full time 12+ hour day/night shifts, it's become something of out of the frying pan and into the oven so to speak; what little spare time I have had has come down to an agonising choice of "do I eat?" or "do I go to bed?" so to say that RW/TS 201x has taken a back seat is something of an understatement.
With my recent holiday and some well-worded reader comments, I have decided to give it one last push. If it breaks me and I cannot complete it then I'll walk down that lonely road of failure and disappointment wondering what might have been. Meanwhile I'd like to request that those of you who do still maintain a flying monkey's left one in the project, please keep the faith! August should be a good time for be to make considerable progress, despite this post coming well over a year since my last one. I don't know where the time has gone either but this is not a time for excuses, I have handled this badly in terms of honouring a community and publishing agreement and it's starting to cause stress again. Both in a good way, as in a good kick up the backside, but also in a bad way to such an extent that I've deliberately avoided the forums in fear of what the others might be saying.
Part of the problem when I do sit down to work on the route is that I am never 100% satisfied with what I've already done and I am conscious of the fact that the community (rightly so in my view) will take me to the cleaners about some of the work I've done in areas, despite them being at least on a par with some more recent (and older) popular route releases.
Below are some screens of the 465 in action as well as some very work in progress shots of other areas based around certain London stations.
If anyone's still reading this and would like a mention in the manual with a full copy of the route by donating items and creating scenery and landscapes, please do get in touch! I'm struggling with some areas which are in need of some custom-built objects which seem beyond me so far, so see this as a cry for help. Some of my creations are on show in my screenshots but all this detracts from the time I have at the drawing board so to speak, completing the route as it should have been, all those moons ago.
Many thanks for your time and (dis)countinued interest.

I'm Still Here!
A couple more screenshots have been added.
New items have arrived and have been built and I've updated my Acknowledgements to include Decapod/Paul for his helpful creations which allow me and many other modellers to get on with things!
I'll get more up soon. As always, comments are welcome. I do take your feedback on board and will do my best to implement it where possible.

Back to Basics
Today I've tried my hand driving DT's wonderful Light Pacific in a bid to test some of the scenery and signals. Some new screenshots show some of this journey which covered 27 miles, had 16 instructions and took 58 minutes.
They can be seen on this page. As always your comments are welcomed and encouraged!

Progress
It's been a while since I've posted anything on here and I'm sorry for that! A rather hectic few months have slowed things somewhat but I've been back on it lately and some of the screenshots featuring the soon-to-be-updated 450, Voyager and Richard Scott's marvellous new 2BIL show off some of my favourite parts of the route, both new and old.
I hope you enjoy them! Comments are encouraged as always and welcomed. Who knows, you might make a difference in the route! Many more screenshots can be viewed in posts below, or from the album directly here.

Off my Trolley
Well not quite. But I have been making things again, loopy as I may be.
Now would also be a good time to congratulate Mully on the successful handover of his Scottish East Coast Main Line route to Just Trains. A purchase will not only reward his hard work and brilliant effort but would also bring many happy hours to you as the player. See www.mullys.webs.com for more!

Happy New Year
Hello everybody. Welcome back to life after the gluttony of the festive period. I hope you all had a great Christmas and finale to 2011 and that 2012 behaves itself for you.
This is just a quick post to wish you all the best and that the route is still being done up - slowly but surely as usual. The screenshot below is meant to represent the possibility of a new dawn - a fresh start - a cheesy metaphor for 2012. Have a goodun!

A Cab Ride
This short video (without sound) is made covering the few miles between Alming Head and Hollingbury Park. Enjoy!
